The Lightie was made by Michael Suttner and comes in the form of a small test tube shaped light. The top of the Lightie is meant to be screwed into the top of any average pop bottle as well which not only diffuses the light but also makes for a portable lamp of sorts.
The unit is rechargeable and will provide a minimum of three hours upon full charge if it is being used at its maximum power. If being used at half, that time doubles, making for a powerful source of light. In order to get the most out of the Lightie, users should be charging it during the day and then it will be fully prepared for night time use.
