Contemporary Fractal Cutlery

The Infinity Set by LhoghoNurbs Boast Mind-Bending Details

The Infinity Set is comprised of contemporary cutlery that tweaks traditional designs in exciting and subtle ways. Created for the website Fractal Forums' Annual Fractal Art Competition 2012, the unique utensils boast mind-bending details that will capture anyone's attention. For instance, the spoon looks like it is simply a pile of spoons decreasing in size, which is not the case at all. Instead, it is an illusory spoon. The knife, on the other hand, looks to be disintegrating right before people's eyes.

Designed by Fractal Forums user LhoghoNurbs, The Infinity Set includes four pieces: the Cantor fork that can pin a single kiwi seed, Recursive spoon that will reduce spills, Koch knife that can cut hair-thin slices out of an egg and The Infinity Set, which is a subset of itself.
