The Human Powered Bus

The Human Powered Bus

We've heard about hybrid cars, electric cars, solar cars, and etc. How about human powered car? Honda R&D team came up with the idea called “the Running Bus”, a human-powered bus. This may sound good for fitness lovers because the bus is powered by 10 runners who jog inside the bus. The runner will provide the muscular energy to power the vehicle.
This idea may be strange but Scania, one of the biggest truck makers in Europe, has tested the human-powered bus in Angers, France.

In a way, this is the high tech version of Rio's Bicycle Bus from 2005.
