Delicate Dew-Dripping Florets

The Mia Minor 'Dandelion Magic' Series is Refreshingly Pure

The 'Dandelion Magic' series by Slovak photographer Mia Minor are simple, pure and magical. These colorful snapshots allow audiences to get up close and person with nature although still preserving its undisturbed and untouched beauty. This series of photos is solely devoted to dandelions, an often neglected and despised flora. Minor's photographs give dandelions back their beauty through capturing their water-dripped elegance.

The wispy 'seed head' of the dandelions are shown with delicate water droplets balancing on them. For some of the photographs there is a colorfully saturated background, for other photographs one can see the sun-setting in the surrounding background.

Mia Minor gains her photograph inspiration from the beauty of nature and scenic regions in Central Europe. For more of her photographs check out Mia Minor's site.
