Located by the sea with the Norwegian mountain landscape as its backdrop, The Bands form long wooden lines down a rocky surface, which most likely inspired its name.
Complete with a sunken hot tub and picnic terrace, The Bands was initiated by the Scarcity and Creativity Studio, a design studio within the mentioned Oslo School. It provides a relaxing destination that is quite different from similar spas. Swipelife writes, "This one of a kind sauna is located on the quay of Lofoten which used to be a fishing village. The whole thing looks like some kind of three separate cabins that reference the three present structures on the quay."
