Arboreal Tech Store Designs

This Apple Store In Los Angeles is Lined With Ficus Trees

Foster + Partners has been on a mission to revamp Apple Stores through projects such as the flagship store in the Turkish city of Istanbul, and the company is now making waves again with its latest and greatest tech store design for the Apple Store located in The Grove shopping complex in Los Angeles.

This particular tech store design makes generous use of trees, with customers able to marvel at tall ficus trees on either side of them as they enter the spacious store. A total of 16 trees are even located inside the store, with this Apple Store saying true to the branding of The Grove shopping complex by striving to provide an orchard-like aesthetic for consumers looking to engage with Apple products.

With the use of generous glazing and skylights in order to boost the presence of daylight and reduce reliance on electricity, this Apple Store doesn't merely embrace nature's aesthetics but also aims to contribute to sustainability goals.
