Team Liquid Will Partner with Epic Games' Fortnite for Limited Items

Team Liquid has announced a partnership with Fortnite that will deliver artwork and merchandise, some of which will be designed by Team Liquid themselves. The esports organization also recently partnered with notable anime titles such as Naruto Shippuden to release similar branded apparel. Team Liquid will also be bringing a custom ‘Creative Mode’ map and Twitch assets designed by both companies.

Gaming has taken off considerably since the pandemic, and many esports companies have pursued collaborations with pop culture, tech brands, and gaming studios. Names like FaZe Clan have extended their reach to gaming peripheral companies such as Ducky Keyboards, signifying the popularity of these limited-edition releases.

"[The project] will launch globally across three continents, includes a Creative Mode map featuring our 6 athletes and 6 horse manes in our logo with individualized mini games which will show up on Twitch across owned and operated broadcasts along with awarding scores[,]" said Mike Milanov, CBDO of Team Liquid.
