The Ehang 184 Flying Taxi Aims to Battle Pollution and Congestion

China-based company Ehang raised a lot of eyebrows when it introduced the very first iteration of its taxi drone prototype back in 2016, but the company has gone ahead and proven that it's serious about the project, thanks to the implementation of successful test flights involving real human passengers.

This particular taxi drone takes advantage of a carbon fiber construction that gives it a lightweight design and an ability to zoom along at up to 130 km/h without being too bulky. What's more, the Ehang 184 is also more than capable of carrying out nighttime flights, and can also negotiate challenging conditions such as fog and heavy wind.
