Inverted Scent Inspirations

The Making of M/Mink Perfume was Influenced by Images

The creators of the perfume 'M/Mink' did not concoct the fragrance in a typical fashion; instead, they took tangible inspiration from three sources before the scent was discovered.

BYREDO, Michael Amzalag and Mathias Augustyniak of M/M Paris created artworks from existing photographs by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vindooh Matdin. Thick smears of black ink were then applied onto the images, and these images became inspirations for the 'M/Mink' fragrance. Powdery Patchouli leaf, warm amber, clover honey and smoldering incense form the heart of this unique 'M/Mink' perfume concoction.
