Tamale Perfume Takes Odors Out of The Kitchen and Onto Your Skin

Perfumer Zorayda Ortiz decided to think outside of the box with its newest creation entitled the Tamale perfume.

For those who may not be familiar with the Mexican dish it is named after, the meal is a seasoned meat wrapped in cornmeal and baked in corn husks. In essence, the perfume takes on a very corn-centric odor and is inspired by the culture of the Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. The perfumer has also been quoted as saying that she would like to expand her line to include a chicken or pork tamale scented oil, which demonstrates her passion for thinking up unlikely perfume concoctions.

Though it is debatable as to how many people would go for such a particular scent, the Tamale perfume is one way to have a delectable dish wafting from you at all times.
