'Take Away Shows' Take Music Videos Back to the Basics

Vincent Moon, a Parisian independent filmmaker, and Chryde, founder of the website La Blogothèque, have taken music videos back to the basics. No more mega-budgets and no more CGI. The idea behind ‘Take Away Shows’ is to film different bands in different cities all over the world, to get to a place where the music is most simple, and therefore the truest.

Musicians and bands that have been featured on La Blogothèque include Jason Mraz and Beirut. Cities in which the filming of the ‘Take Away Shows’ has taken place include Paris, Seattle and Buenos Aires. I have included some videos which highlight what Vincent Moon and La Blogothèque are all about… the music.
