Trader Joe's Has a New Sweet Vanilla Cardona Cheese

Trader Joe's is once again expanding its cheese selection to include the new Sweet Vanilla Cardona Cheese.

The new Sweet Vanilla Cardona Cheese is made by Carr Valley, which is a renowned cheesemaker based in Wisconsin. In fact, Carr Valley has won more top national and international awards than any other North American cheesemaker. With this pedigree in mind, Trader Joe's has added the brand's Sweet Vanilla Cardona Cheese to its lineup. This cheese is handcrafted with fresh Wisconsin goat milk, which has been infused with vanilla beans and vanilla sugar. "Over a few weeks of aging, the cheese develops notes of toasted caramel, coconut, and nutmeg, and the vanilla bean specks elegantly dot the edible rind, resulting in a fantastically fancy fromage," explains Trader Joe's.

While the delicate and sweet cheese is great on its own, it also pairs well with strawberry preserves or a nice glass of Merlot.
