Inax - the same company that produced the luxury Regio Gold Toilet and the intuitive musical Regio Smart Toilet - has joined forces with an Austrian jeweler to create an elaborate toilet sparkling with over 72,000 dazzling slivers of Swarovski cut crystal.
Said to have been created to please the God of lavatories, the glamorous bejeweled lavatory is valued at around $130,000 (10 million yen).
In an effort to draw more customers into the area during a time of ongoing economic gloom, the ornate Swarovski toilet will be on display at a showroom in the upmarket Ginza shopping district in Japan until the end of December.
Who would have thought a toilet could ever be too pretty to poop in?
