Footstep-Powered Lampposts

The 'EnGoPLANET' Street Light Design is Headed to Las Vegas

Cities are one of the worst offenders when it comes to energy consumption, so the 'EnGoPLANET' street light design is intended to help offer a touch of sustainability.

Featuring a kinetic and solar energy design, the 'EnGoPLANET' lampposts are powered by the foot traffic of pedestrians and the sun. Currently in works to be implemented throughout Boulder Plaza in Las Vegas, the 'EnGoPLANET' lampposts are designed with aesthetic and purpose in mind.

The LED technology within the street light design allows a wattage output of between 25 and 75, while motion sensors can also be implemented for further energy savings.

Aside from this, air quality sensors, thermostats, video cameras and much more can be integrated into the 'EnGoPLANET' lamppost to make them future-ready.
