The API system provides outside shipping companies access to capacity information from Starsky Robotics. This would allow certain shipping companies the ability to integrate with Starsky's different shipping projects.
The company notes that the Hutch system will allow Starsky to continue focusing on building autonomous trucking technology, while not committing as many resources into dealing with trucking capacity. Hutch was recently been put to use by the trucking company, with the API system was assigned to dispatch an automated truck.
The company also has the ability to restrict the system to use only on the easiest routes for autonomous trucks to navigate.
