In perhaps what might go down as one of the cruelest Star Wars pranks ever conceived, ReadJunk published a story that Justin Bieber would be playing Han Solo's son in the upcoming movie.
Star Wars fans can laugh about it now, but when the news broke I can sympathize with how outraged and upset they must have been. Star Wars fans are very particular and hold the highest standards -- and for good reason.
The reason this news may have seemed believable is the fact that Disney now owns the rights to the Star Wars franchise. This could have been Disney's way of interesting its current market in Star Wars. However a move like that would alienate a sea of loyal Star Wars fans and would not be a mistake Disney would likely make.
