Geek Glasses For Geezers

Eyetonomy SightMate

The Star Trek gizmo really does exist! Well maybe.... if I was almost blind.

The Eyetonomy SightMate glasses look unbelievably geeky, but if one had really poor vision these would help restore their sight immensely. The SightMate goggles will also improve peripheral vision. But don't walk around! That's what the makers themselves warn. You might start crashing into things.

These are designed for people who have sight problems from Diabetes or Glaucoma to improve their quality of life. I'll wear a hose in my nose to sleep, aids to help me hear, put a Boomer on Board sign in my car, so yeah, I guess I would imitate Jordi from Star Trek.
