Speed Enthusiast Bicycles

The Speedmax WHR by Canyon Boasts Razor Sharp Tires

The Speedmax WHR is aptly named considering that it was designed for "Alex Dowsett to beat the record of 52.461km for the so called the hour record in the world of cycling," reports Swipelife. An incredible creation, it's capable of sustaining a speed above 52km/h for a single hour, which requires a total power output of about 400 watts. Just looking at the Speedmax WHR instantly makes a person think of speed from its razor sharp tires to the aerodynamic frame.

Designed by Canyon, the Speedmax WHR weighs only 7.3 kilograms. It is finished with aircraft grade 7075 aluminum with a carbon layup for the whole rear triangle. And, according to Swipelife, "There are horizontal dropouts to achieve utmost chain tension and handle different gear ratios." All together, that makes for a very smooth ride.
