Spalding and Stranger Things Launch a New Sporty Collaboration

Spalding is reimagining its iconic basketball in a new Stranger Things’-themed collaboration. The collaboration transforms the brand’s size 7 basketballs using popular places and motifs from the show, naming them ‘Fireball,’ ‘Hawkins,’ ‘Top-Flite 100,’ and ‘Greetings.’ ‘Fireball’ is influenced by The Hellfire Club and the design of D&D dice seen in the series. The basketball has basketballs engulfed in flames symbols and bespoke "Fireball Him!" writing, exuding rock 'n' roll flare.

The Hawkins High Basketball Team, known as the "Tigers," is characterized by yellow and green coloring and tiger motifs. This design makes its way onto the ‘Hawkins’ iteration of the ball. While ‘Greetings’ transports its users far from Hawkins and incorporates California florals throughout the design. The ball's reverse side has "Upside Down" text in an '80s surf-style image. The ‘Top-Flite’ 100 Indoor Game Basketball is the same ball used by The Tigers in the show and uses the 1986 model of Spalding’s balls to evoke a sense of nostalgia.
