Sputnik News reports the space food tubes come in varieties including meats, desserts and even soups. There seems to be a loose correlation between the yogurt in a tube that were all the rage in the late 1990s. Perhaps the astronaut appeal is what makes these food tubes a hit in the former Soviet Union.
