Just this past May, Trendhunter.com reported on the possibility of a skinny or slimmed down version of Sony’s Playstation 3. Well it looks like the rumour has materialized into a fact.
This change in design should come as no surprise as Sony had already done the same a couple years ago when they resigned and shrunk their Playstaion 2 gaming console. The new PS3 Slim is 32% smaller than the original PS3 and uses 34% less energy than its predecessor. Along with enabling play of some of the hottest gaming titles, it also has a Blu-Ray player, built in Wi-Fi and 120 GB hard drive.
Dropping this September for only $300, you won’t have to stuff much cash into your skinny jeans in order to pick up a PS3 slim.
