Xiaomi is Shaking Up the Electric Auto Industry With the 'SU7' EV

Electric vehicles may not be the first category of products that come to mind when you think of Xiaomi, but the Chinese company that is perhaps best associated with budget smartphones is well and truly looking to chance that with the launch of the 'SU7,' an electric sedan that is set to be launched in 2024.

The 'Xiaomi SU7' is said to be able to sprint from zero to 100 km/h in only 2.78 seconds, while its range can be as high as 800 km. The vehicle is fitted with Xiaomi's proprietary Modena Architecture that is highlighted by electric motors that can deliver 21,000 revs per minute.

Elsewhere, this particular electric sedan features the HyperOS entertainment system that allows you to utilize the high-clarity, 3K central screen as well as mounted Xiaomi tablets to access and alter a range of media and amenities. Users can also cast their Xiaomi smartphone display onto the main display.
