Kabuto, which was formally known as Xtend, has launched a funding campaign on Kickstarter for its new smart suitcase. The company has priced the suitcase at $435, for those who back the Kickstarter campaign, and $595 after the Kickstarter campaign has concluded.
Kabuto's new smart suitcase has a 10,000 mAh battery that is compatible with both USB-A and USB-C cables, which allows the owner to charge a number of different devices with the suitcase. The back of the suitcase can be removed, in order to provide an easily accessible storage compartment for laptops.
A magnetic connection exists between the battery and the laptop compartment. This allows for the owner to connect a cable to a laptop that can be attached to the pocket so a laptop can charge while in the compartment.
