Sling TV Content Can Now Be Streamed on the Safari Browser

Sling TV content can now be streamed on the desktop version of the Apple Safari Browser. Previously, Sling TV content was already compatible with both Chrome and Edge browsers. Now Sling TV customers who own Mac computers are able to access content without using the Sling TV Mac app. Users will be able to access streaming on the Safari browser, as long as they are running Safari 11.1 or later. Safari 11.1 was released in 2018 and is available to all Safari users.

The new compatibility with Safari will give Sling TV customers a more convenient way to access streaming. Convenience is often a factor when consumers select a streaming service, and not having to open another app could be significant. The new compatibility could help Sling TV attract more customers.
