Pinterest Expanded its Skin Tone Range Feature to More Countries

In an effort to be more inclusive to various countries that use its platform, Pinterest recently announced the expansion of its skin tone range feature to include thirteen additional countries including France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia.

The feature allows Pinterest users to refine their beauty-related searches based on a set of skin tone ranges. The feature will show then content that is similar to the skin tone range the user has selected. According to the brand, the motivation behind the inclusive initiative stems from continuing to make "it easy for Pinners to discover beauty inspiration that is relevant and personalized for their selected skin tone, style and taste."
