Sirane Introduces the Plastic-Free and Paper-Recyclable 'Butter Wrap'

Sirane continues to lead the way in sustainable packaging with the introduction of its Plastic-free and recyclable butter wrap in the Earth Packaging range. The Earthfilm Butter-Wrap employs coated papers to offer an eco-friendly alternative to the prevalent non-recyclable butter-wraps in the industry.

In addition to their function as wrappers, these materials can be supplied as lids for butter tubs, extending their utility across various packaging formats. This product enhances choices with standard Xtra (featuring moisture barrier on both sides) and metalized film (Ultra) options, catering to diverse packaging needs. The metalized film delivers superior barrier properties and a sleek finish for added visual appeal.

"Our Earthfilm Butter-Wrap is exciting news for the butter industry. It’s got all the properties of butter-wraps currently used, but crucially is paper-recyclable," said Simon Balderson, managing director, Sirane.
