This Single Malt Whiskey Was Finished In Apple Brandy Casks

Wonderland Distilling, a Michigan-based company that has managed to make a name for itself as a result of its unmatched ability to utilize local ingredients to craft delectable spirits, has announced a brand new single malt whiskey that happens to be the company's first ever offering to have been distilled on its own property.

This single malt whiskey also happens to be aged in apple brandy barrels, which gives the spirit its unique taste. This whiskey makes use of pure Maris Otter Malt in conjunction with classical distilling processes, with the aging of the liquid in apple brandy barrels providing a fabulous finishing touch.

According to Wonderland Distilling's CEO Mark Gongalski, this apple brandy barrel-aged single-malt whiskey represents "our chance to experiment and craft a distinctly Michigan single malt product that is as unique as the state we live in."
