'Enzo' is the name of the Box-to-Hanger shirt packaging design concept developed by graphic designer Diana Castaneda.
The design addresses a common issue with single-use packaging—after it has safely transported contents, it is no longer of use. Rather than rendering a shirt packaging design obsolete after it has been opened, Enzo's packaging system is a dynamic one that can be transformed into a hanger for storing the item it helped to bring home. As well as keeping shirts freshly folded and pressed before opening, this simple packaging uses only a single sheet of cardboard and a number of cleverly placed folds as a solution to reduce waste in the fashion industry.
For her innovative shirt packaging design system, Castaneda was recognized as a Winner of the Applied Arts Student Award.
