I would love to meet Sheharzad Arshad, just to ask her about her childhood. Strange and Creepy (the name of this particular portfolio) to say the least, this Toronto artist either has one morbid imagination, or is bound for the psychologist's chair--you know, that leather lounger one.
Honestly, I don't know if Sheharzad Arshad is empowering children in her art, or just creating monsters herself. I thought the Brothers Grimm were disturbed, and they were simply recounting village fables!
