Permanent Markered Automobiles

Chris Dunlop's Sharpie Camaro Boasts Unique Custom Artwork

At first glance, the Sharpie Camaro looks like it simply features a cool, yet common car decal. Yet upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that this luxury automobile has actually been drawn on... with permanent marker!

The artist behind the incredible Sharpie Camaro is Chris Dunlop who hails from Gaithersburg, Maryland. Using a technique known as pinstripe, Dunlop did the custom sharpie job as requested by a local dealership. Using a grand total of 10 sharpies, it took him approximately 54 hours to complete the Sharpie Camaro. Considering the detail involved in the design of this unique artwork, that amount of time and dedication is not surprising. In fact, one might think that the Sharpie Camaro would have taken much longer to complete.
