Seibu Amusement Park Lets Guests Play King for a Day

Capitalizing on the culture of Japan, Seibu Amusement Park has launched a new campaign meant to pique the interest of roller coaster fanatics. The proposal: Become a theme park king with front-row seats, expert service and a butler! Unfortunately, it's a Cinderella-type of arrangement and the experience only lasts one day.

After designing a three-part quiz meant to filter out the wrong candidates, the management of Seibu Amustment Park is patiently waiting the arrival of their king, one contestant lucky enough to answer all the right questions. The reward is a one-of-a-kind experience and includes a king's feast, a doting butler and access to Jairo Skywalk Tower, which offers a breath-taking view of Tokyo and Mount Fuji.

Personally, hanging around an amusement park with an old butler isn't my typical idea of fun, however, Seibu's campaign has received a record-setting number of admissions. It seems in Japan it's good to be king.
