Fragrance-Inspired Sculptures

These Scent Sculptures are as Unique as Their Inspiration

The gender-neutral fragrances by 'Laboratory Perfumes' are represented in physical form in these scent sculptures.

Designed by the London-based artist Zuza Mengham, the sculptures come together to form an exhibition titled 'Sculpting Scent.' The artist created the crystal-like sculptures using layers of resin and they represent Laboratory Perfumes' fragrances. The artist first visualized the different notes and scents in the fragrances and then interpreted them in physical form. The resulting scent sculptures are beautiful and diverse -- looking like large gemstones with sparse but intricate patterns on the inside.

This unique art exhibition was able to uniquely capture the complexities of fragrances in physical form -- bringing them to life while giving the artist plenty of leeway to interpret the fragrances as she wishes.
