The Save Trigger Promises Better Accuracy for Seeking Troubled Swimmers

How many people would be able to effectively hurl a floatation device directly at a person drowning 10 meters offshore? The Save Trigger does not require a rescuer to take the risk of missing his target over and over. Instead, it provides a method to more accurately reach a struggling swimmer.

Moonjeong Choi's invention is a raindrop-shaped gun. The user aims at his victim, activates the release button with his hand and holds his ground as the capsule on the front lobs towards its target. In mid-air, the Save Trigger quickly unwinds along the length of its durable cable and the throw bag inflates with nitrogen. The swimmer can seek the support of the floating ring and be drawn towards the beach by the cord.
