‘Save the Dates' Hopes to Find Work for Two Engaged Girls

The 'Save the Dates' campaign is an outrageously ingenious advertising stunt. The campaign is the result of one question: what does one do when they have a combination of loyal friendship, a passion for staying put and impending visa issues?

Two straight girls, Charli Hoffman and Alex Otis, are putting their marital status on the line to ensure they find employment before governmental regulations separate them. The faux couple both attend the Miami Ad School in Brooklyn, but as of October 9th Germany-native Charli will be left with an expired work visa and have no choice but to leave the country or get hitched.

The girls agreed to marry each other in order to remain together as friends and have launched Save the Dates, a Facebook campaign to beg for work before the two are forced to tie the knot. Who wouldn’t want to hire this kind of commitment?
