Playable Toy Block Instruments

The Ross Crawford LEGO Ukelele is a Fully Functional Music Maker

Fully functional and fun to look at, the Ross Crawford LEGO Ukelele is a musical masterpiece. Playable and tunable, the instrument works perfectly even though it’s made of pieces of LEGO.

Tuned to C, F, A, D, the Ross Crawford LEGO Ukelele can play your favorite tunes with ease. To prevent explosion upon pressure of the strings, Crawford used a pre-stressed Technic rod for the neck. Technicalities aside, the ukelele looks like a real instrument from afar, and not like a composition of toy pieces.

Already amazed at the LEGO composition, I did not actually expect it to work. Although it may not exactly be like a ukelele that you are familiar with, the Ross Crawford LEGO Ukelele is an amazing piece of instrumental artwork.
