'Rocketnews24' Looks at Japanese Versions of Film Posters

Japanese website Rocketnews24 has taken Japanese translations of the titles of popular international movies -- including popular Hollywood flicks -- and translated them back into English, and the results are hilarious. The project looked at a bunch of movies whose titles were originally altered for a Japanese audience for reasons of culture, language and style.

A total of 19 movies were used for the project. Their Japanese titles were translated back into English and put back in the films' original posters. In many cases, the movies' names were changed to provide more detail than the original titles, in order to better hook audience attention.

Included in the list are such famous flicks as the Oscar-nominated 'Nairobi Bees' (The Constant Gardener) and computer-animated comedic adventure 'Grandpa Carl's Flying House' (Up). And of course, who could forget 'A Goat & A Man & A Man & A Wall &' (The Men Who Stare At Goats.'
