Remixed Film Posters

These Reworked 'SamRAW08' Movie Promos are Nostalgic

The Nottingham, United Kingdom-based artist who goes by the name of 'SamRAW08' on DeviantArt has drawn up a series of reworked promotional posters of hit movies. The films range from big blockbuster hits to cult-classic reels. From 'The Bride of Frankenstein' to 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' to more niche movies like Rob Zombies's 'House of a Thousand Corpses,' SamRAW08 has something for every horror fan's taste.

Not all of the posters feature horror movies, however. A few pay homage to films like Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill and Robert Zemeckis's classic Back to the Future. Aside from the latter, most of the posters do tend to focus on violence. This is approached in a tongue-and-cheek manner by SamRAW08. It's too bad the designs are only digital, as they would make great pin-ups.
