The Re-Stacked Lounger is a Lightweight Mobile Seating Structure

Repurposing existing objects into pieces of furniture has become a sort of art form this days; with this in mind, the Re-Stacked Lounger is a masterpiece. Although it clearly doesn't mask its past, it has been creatively and cleverly restructured in order to fulfill its new purpose in as stylish and comfortable a manner as possible.

Designed by John van Huenen, Andrew Wilkie, Stephanie Ward, Ursula Davy, & Hannah Hutchinson, the Re-Stacked Lounger is made out of a shipping pallet. Converted into a lightweight mobile seating structure, the pallets are placed on wheels in order to make them more accessible and portable. Complete with a backrest, the Re-Stacked Lounger could easily accommodate three people, maybe even more. It's industrial appeal makes it perfect for traditional and modern settings.
