This new Renault ad campaign uses celebrity taglines to show how the Renault Clio Campus is really economical.

The print ads use tag lines such as, “The last time I filled up my tank, Britney had hair,” “The last time I filled up my tank, Angelina had 3 kids,” and, “The last time I filled up my tank, Fidel still ruled Cuba.”

Visually, the ads use photographs and illustrations by Jeremy Green displayed as an uninterrupted circular loop that shows how far you can go with your Renault Clio Campus without stopping for gas.

The 2008 campaign was created by Neogama/BBH ad agency, São Paulo with creative directors, Alexandre Gama, Márcio Ribas, Wilson Mateos, art director Márcio Ribas, copywriter Isabella Paulelli, and digital retouching by Daniel Leão, Alessandra Perez, Alexandre Calvin.
