Repurposed Cement Bag Cases

The Thanda Protective Tablet Bags are Made Using Recycled Paper

Design brand Thanda has found a way to repurpose the recycled paper collected from old cement bags by transforming the material into printed tablet cases with intricate patterns. The industrial strength of the cement bags lends itself well to creating a protective shell for the tech device, keeping it safe from scratches and exterior elements.

The cases feature four different patterns that incorporate animals, plant life and colorful geometric shapes. The designs come in two different sizes for both larger and smaller tablets. Each case features a fold top and a paper lining infused with cotton for added softness. Thanks to the use of the cement bags, the cases are tear-resistant and incredibly durable.

The brand also has a social good focus, providing funds and training to communities located in South Africa.
