Recycled Metrocard Art

Luis Torres Crafts Clever Creations from Used NYC Metrocards

Luis Torres is an MTA booth attendant in NYC responsible for creating all of this recycled metrocard art. NYC metrocards have been been used to create art before, but Luis Torres' creations go above and beyond a simple doodle or paper plane.

I'm not very artistic, so recycled metrocard art is probably not a hobby I could take up anytime soon. Luis Torres must have a lot of free time at work, seeing as how amazingly detailed these sculptures look. Check out the links to see more of Luis's and other metrocard artwork.
