Skateboard Stools

Seating from Recycled Decks

These broken skateboards have been turned into a useful and unique stool. While displaying the scrapes and scars of its former life, these skateboard decks are cleverly put together to create the Deckstool.

The Deckstool is the brainchild of brothers Jason and Adam Podlaski. Jason realized that three-quarters of the decks were consistently broken in the same spot, while the other one-fourth broke clean in half.

The larger, more prolific broken decks seemed to be most useful for the legs, while the half pieces naturally worked for the seat. Just to make sure all the components were incorporated into the stool, Jason used the truck to tie it all together.

You can use the limited edition decks available on the site or send in your own broken decks for a scrapbook of your rides.
