Stockholm-based Note Design Studio has unveiled an innovation within the category of recyclable fabrics. Pioneering the movement toward closed-loop sustainability, the material was debuted in Circolo Filologico during Milan Design Week.
The crown jewel of the installation is a product that has been developed in collaboration with Tarkett — a vinyl flooring manufacturer. Dubbed 'Formations,' the IQ Surface is a stylish and durable material that can be sent by to Tarkett to be recycled when it is no longer in use. Versatile and space-conscious, the aesthetic of the recyclable fabric has been overseen by Note Design Studio. The installation exhibits the flooring's usability.
Closed-loop sustainability initiatives are surely the next step in assuring eco-consciousness meets the demands of climate change.
