Hotels.com is Sending One Group of Friends on a $50k Vacation

As reality television becomes more popular, Hotels.com is helping one group of friends try their hand at the drama with a reality show-inspired $50k vacation. Dubbed 'Destination Drama,' the luxurious 1-acre property will come with a tapped confessional room, a large swimming pool, lazy river, waterslide, hammocks, sun loungers, fire pit, putting green, citrus garden, half basketball court, and a sand volleyball court.

"Trying to make a group trip happen is, well, an ordeal—from budgets to locale to the friend who refuses to take PTO. So, we created ‘Destination Drama,’ an ode to our "Can’t Go Wrong" ad campaign that reminds people that booking with Hotels.com is anything but dramatic," said Shannon Lovich, head of PR and communications, North America. "With free cancellation on most bookings, thousands of properties to choose from, and rewards earned on every night, you really can’t go wrong."

The three-night adventure will include a $1,000 stipend to use for airfare or other expenses for all six guests. Groups can enter online until August 18th at 12 p.m. CT and the winners will be notified by August 20, 2021.
