Reality is questioned when viewing this realistic body art. For many artists creating something that looks real is an art-form unto itself. It is a hard process to do when you are working with canvas; the difficulty is increased when you are working with the texture and contours of the human body.
Realistic body art will grab a person's eye, because you are not sure what you are actually looking at. Your will be shocked when you see someone across the room rolling up their skin to reveal an x-ray of their chest. You're reality will be shaken when you realize that you are in fact looking at a work of art that has been painted onto someone's body.
