Sony is Working on a New Game-Streaming Handheld for the PS5

Sony is currently working on a new handheld gaming device titled the 'Q Lite.' However, while previous Sony-owned handheld devices played smaller, dedicated games locally, such as the PlayStation Portable and the PlayStation Vita, the Q Lite will focus on game streaming from a PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 home console.

The Q Lite will have a 1920 x 1080p display and will run at a refresh rate of 60Hz, which is more than enough to support the PlayStation 5's performance in most games. Additionally, both devices will require a constant internet connection, with a wired connected recommended for the PlayStation 5, in order to properly stream the games without significant input delay or packet loss.

The company has not yet confirmed pricing or a release window for the Q Lite.
