The Pyrenees Sofa is Inspired by a Natural Landscape

As you can clearly see when you first lay eyes on the Pyrenees sofa, it is inspired by a mountain range. You may not be familiar with the particular mountain range, but it happens to be conveniently named after it. Who knew that such majestic and treacherous landscapes could yield so much comfort? I always considered them as testing our limits not to mention being literally rock hard.

Designed by Fredrikson Stallard, which was founded by Swedish designer Patrik Fredrikson and UK designer Ian Stallard, the Pyrenees sofa is, thankfully, predominantly made out of polyurethane foam rather than rocks. Available in forest green, black, sable and, oddly enough, pink, the Pyrenees sofa boasts a sturdy steel frame. I like how Pyrenees sofa's surface depicts a rather rugged terrain as well.
