Subway's New Protein Bowls Feature a Generous Helping of Meat

While Subway may be known for its sandwiches, the brand is branching off into new territory with the debut of its new Protein Bowls.

Subway's new Protein Bowls make use of the brand's existing sub sandwich topping options, but in a new format – each bowl is essentially a salad topped with a generous helping of meat. In terms of flavor combinations, there are plenty to choose from, including the Black Forest Ham Protein Bowl, the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki Protein Bowl, the Oven Roasted Chicken Protein Bowl, and more. There's even a Meatball Marinara Protein Bowl featuring eight meatballs smothered in a savory marinara sauce and served over a bed of spinach, peppers, and other veggies.

The new Protein Bowls can be found at participating Subway restaurants across the U.S. as of December 21, 2020.
