The Prism by Keiichi Matsuda Features a Kaleidoscopic Design

The Prism by Keiichi Matsuda is a kaleidoscopic art installation featured at this years London Design Festival. The angular projection sculpture resembles an oversized lantern and explores urban statistics displayed on live data panels.

Film maker Matsuda's design presents its viewer with data but does not give them full understanding of its meaning. The striking art installation is suspended above the festival venue's entrance point. Its angular panels are formed to create a 3D geometric shape that resembles a prism.

The Prism by Keiichi Matsuda is a project sponsored in part by champagne brand Veuve Clicquot. Displaying urban infographics and various other data, this 3D art piece is both strange and unexpected, leaving a lasting visual impact on London Design Festival visitors.
