Furniture Jockeying

Indoor Sports for Snow Days or Slow Days

This is something to think about doing if you are bored with building snowmen. It was sent to me by a photographic agent I have used in the past for work.

This activity has been described as ‘furniture jockeying.’ Essentially, you rearrange the contents of your house into shapes that you can ride. This is an indoor activity that typically takes place only when you're incredibly bored.

These were all shot on location by photographer Tim MacPherson and are due to feature in this month’s Lürzer's Archive.

I could not write about Tim MacPherson’s work without posting his ‘Pregnant Boy’ advertising portrait from the Sony World Photography Awards. Just brilliant.
